bath time!!

naya has always loved bathtime and now that she is sitting we finally cracked open the bath toys that grandma vickie sent her for christmas,,,she loved them,,as u can see she was so into playing she didnt even look at the camera once!! she was eating the lobster splashing the boat and just having a great time! so glad we can finally play in the bath too,, (its gets more of her energy out) because she slept so good last night 9pm-7am all by herself!!! yes,i finally got my bed back she is now sleeping thru the night in her own bed!!

swing!!

we took a walk to the playground today and it was nice enough to put her on the baby swing, it was so cool seeing her enjoy it, i knew she would because she loves being thrown up in the air and "pretend" falling, i think shes gonna be a dare devil!! boy am i in for it!! but anyways she laughed and babbled as i talked to her and pushed her in the swing,, it was a pretty sweet moment :)

sippy cup

the same day i realized she could sit up i went to the store because doc also said we could introduce meats, yogurt and cottage cheese, so went to get all that yummy stuff, while i was there i saw a sippy cup (it said +6months) so i decided heck y not give it a try,,well my honey is so smart she immediately grabbed the handles and stuck the spout in her mouth, once again i was so amazed of how well she did,,yes there was some spillage but she completely understood the concept of a sippy cup!! i cant believe how fast time is going by im just so grateful that i can be here w/ her for every moment!! good job Naya!!! :)

sit baby sit

Currently at six months old naya has finally accomplished the milestone of sitting on her own!! i was so excited when i realized she could sit on her own, we went to her 6mon doc appt and the doc wanted to see how steady she was i replied "shes a bit wobbly.." to my surprise she sat on the examining table w/ no problem, no weeble or wobble at ALL!! i was so amazed and super proud!! :)
