bounce bounce baby

Naya was so excited about this awesome bouncer that tata got for her, she is a fan of the catapillar toy on it, ironic because the toy that i have on her carseat is a catapillar as well, im wondering does she know what it is or is it jusr a coincidence that she likes the catapillar toy on the walker too, anyways she looks pretty cute and very focused. so amazing. :)

as ive mentioned before about naya and my conversations, she definitely knows what shes talking about, take a look!

awww man!!

we were so excited when the vikings were ahead!! naya was dressed in her viking apparel ready to cheer for her team,, as you can see she was happy when they were winning but by the end was a little upset. you can see he change in expression,, so funny!

FEET!!!

Naya has also discovered her feet!! she will pull them to her chest and in this rare shot has pulled her toes all the way to her mouth! its so funny because she gets so focused and is able to center her attention so well, i remember when she used to just lie there now she is playing and babbling and learning that she has these extremities that SHE can control. her corrdination is getting better everyday!!

CEREAL!!

Currently at 3 1/2 months Naya has started eating cereal once a day, we either do oatmeal or rice with banana or soy milk. im thinking shes not as fond of soy as she is of banana because she got this sour look on her face the first time she tried the soy, haha, i dont blame her but hey i have to mix it up somehow. None the less she loves the cereal and has gotten the hang of the spoon for the most part. though it is still pretty messy, im trying to figure out if its her or me getting the cereal everywhere, she moves so much and its pretty difficult learning to spoon feed a baby, but it is still amazing watching her learn new things. so i got a few pictures of her during and after a feeding,, its a beautiful mess!!

1st playdate!

Naya got to spend an afternoon with her buddy Ethan! she stares contently at new faces just wanting to get a good view. Baby Ethan(who is 8months) was just as curious about Naya, touching her toes softly as he babbled away, it was amazing to see them just look at one another in awe! but Naya as always was on her best baby behavior even having "conversation" w/ Amanda(BabyEthansMama),she has so much personality already and im so glad that she focuses as well as she does!

the best of friends

envy and nays are the best of friends already, envy loves to gives kisses(only allowed on the feet) and is very aware of nayas presence. same goes for naya, everytime envy walks passed her she always smiles, it never fails. im so glad that envy got used to her and accepted her into our family. you probably know we treat envy like family so for her to be as spoiled as she is and not show a bit of jealousy was amazing and a blessing for us as we DID NOT want to have to find envy a new home. so im just glad that envy is as gentle and aware as she is and naya is just as excited to see her, every time she sees envy its as if she seeing her for the 1st time and get so excited.

here is what eric does when he's not spending time with naya and i... playstation3 (his mistress.lol) i swear he can sit in front of the tv for hours playing tigers woods or like in these pics madden10. but after working 10-12hours a day i believe he deserves every moment of ps3 time he gets. plus with golf out for the season he needs his way to get his mind off of work. though he says he cant wait until naya can golf, he asks her everyday if she wants to go golf and her response is always ohahh!! he says thats a yes and shes very excited to someday be on the golf course with daddy. i say as long as shes happy then she can golf all she wants!! ;-)

play time

Naya also loves this cool exercize play gym that nana yvonne got her for christmas, she has figured out that in order to get the toys to move she must kick or somehow move the bars that hold the toys hanging above. she will babble away at something that i am still figuring out, this toy has helped her hand eye coordination tremendously, she nows grabs the toys closest to her and will pull on them watching in amazement as she does this all on her own, this play gym has also helped with tummy time, the pretty colors and patterns on the mat gives her something to look at as she tries so very hard to hold her head. she can now hold it up and turn from side to side. this is a small clip of her in action with the play gym. enjoy.

bath time

Naya loves bath time she will lie in her tub and look around and smile when i splash water, she definitely will love swimming in grandma vickis' pool when she gets older, i was worried because her 1st few baths were difficult, she cried the whole time and i thought i had some how ruined her "water" experience. but im glad to say that she now loves and enjoys bath time and will soon b playing with those cool tub time toys grandma gave her for christmas.

since daddy works alot he takes full advantage of the time he gets to spend with Naya, she will sit with him and watch football and likes being over his shoulder so she can look around from such a high point of view. they lie together in bed after her morning bottle and a little bit before bedtime if hes home in time. here are a few photos of them together.

Naya Mae Kosel

Naya is now 3months old and had her 3mon appt today, she currently weighs 13lbs, 110z and is 23 3/4in. She discovered her hands about 2weeks ago and discovered her feet this past monday. its amazing seeing how fast shes growing, shes so alert of her surroundings and will follow eric, envy and me around as we walk passed her. Nana Yvonne got her a play gym for christmas and she absolutely loves it. she will grab the hanging toys and kick the bars to make the toys move around. she is definitely a talker and is always making noise, she and i will have "conversations" me talking and her responding with "oohs and ahhs". she is now a supported sitter and has good control of her head, she prefers to be in an up right position so she can look around.
